Spatafora
is a town in the Messina province, counting nearly 5,200 inhabitants
and lying few metres a.s.l. Especially known is the Palazzo Baronale,
built between the late-1500s and the early-1600s. Laid on a rectangular
plan, it was meant to guard against attacks from the sea.
