The
small town of Gualtieri Sicaminò stands at some 80m a.s.l.
in the territory of the Messina province. The town has a total population
of 2,400 inhabitants.
The
Chiesa Madre dedicated to Saint Nicholas is the town’s main
religious building. Inside, it is divided into three naves and ornamented
with numerous 1700’s paintings and a marble statue representing
St. Catherine.
