Sinagra
is a small town of nearly 3,300 inhabitants, located in the Messina
province at about 260m a.s.l. It is crossed by the Cardà
river.
The
Chiesa Madre is the town’s main church. It preserves prized
works, such as a 1500’s marble altar-piece by Giacomo Gagini
depicting the Madonna and Child attended by Saint John the Evangelist
and Saint George, the Annunciation, the Resurrection and the Apostles.
